SWICSSY is an advanced submerged wireless conductivity sensor system designed to revolutionize reverse osmosis (RO) membrane preventive maintenance. This end-to-end digital solution provides measuring, reporting, and visualizing the performance of RO membranes within pressure vessels.

IT CONSISTS OF THREE MAIN PARTS:

SIP 

SENSOR INNER PART

​​Sensor specially designed to fit in the permeate tube of a 8-inch Reverse Osmosis membrane. 


Small but very capable SIP accurately measures:

  • Conductivity µS/cm@25°C,

  • Temperature °C,

  • Pressure (possible customization if requested),

  • pH level (possible customization if requested).​

​

It is wirelessly powered by SOP using resonant inductive coupling.

SOP

SENSOR OUTER PART

SOP wirelessly controls the inner sensor and gathers the data, that is then transmitted to Stack Node via CAN bus and can be simply visualized. 

SN

STACK NODE

This part of the SWICSSY system, controls and powers all the SOPs in one rack of Pressure Vessels. It collects and locally stores all data from the belonging sensors, that can be exported in CSV. 

Instrumentation Technologies provides a Grafana based tool, for real-time visualization of data, but user can use its own visualization tool. 
SN is connected to network and can be integrated with plant's SCADA system. Measuring period can be configured by plant operators depending on their needs, minimum measuring period is around 1 minute.
